Our library is fully automated and houses over 13,000 titles. We have 14 Internet accessible computers and offer quality research databases, such as World Book, Gale, and Newsbank. The library is managed by our librarian, Ms. Ross, and assisted by parent volunteers.
The facility is divided into two sections, elementary and middle school. The elementary area provides young students with age appropriate books and a bright environment where they are introduced to literature through books, story telling and readers theater. The middle school area offers a wide range of fiction and non-fiction genres, along with a large amount of reference materials. Technology is enhanced by the use of our multimedia equipment.

TumbleBooks (ebooks)
TumbleBooks is an avenue for students to read books online. Students can either read the books themselves or have the books read to them (these are animated). The Harris County Public Library pays for a subscription to TumbleBooks and offers this to any person, free of charge, holding a public library card. If you would like to use this site for your child to read or be read to, visit the HCPL site and click on the ‘Kids’ tab. Go to the bottom of the page and click on TumbleBooks. (Or click here http://kids.hcpl.net/ ) You will be taken to their site, but will need to enter your public library card number for entry. Students were shown in library class and loved being able to search and find the books online. Have fun with ebooks!!
